Happy Halloween everyone!
On this episode we discuss, in honor of the greatest holiday invented by man, we discuss the classic 70s Marvel comic Tomb of Dracula. Volume 2 to be precise. This is written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by Gene Colan and is – depending on you level of nostalgia – either a wonderful work of chilling beauty or a long-winded bit of purple prose and flowery fluff. no matter which way your opinions fall there is no doubt that it is interesting.
Also on the program we discuss the very real and deeply disturbing problem that is dividing the nation…the issue of how comic are numbered. With the release of Marvel Legacy and the return (for now) of the “original” numbering scheme how does one begin to organize their longboxes? It is a topic that needs an answer. Nay! it demands one. Yeah, so…we talk about it.
So join us – Paul Matthew Carr and Brian K. Reese – for a lively and rambling and hopefully entertaining discussion on comics and comic related material.
